Dr Armin, M.D. 
Dr. Amin, M.D. received her medical degree from M.S. University in Baroda, India in 1972. After a residency program in O.B. Gyn. at M.S. University, she did general practice residency at Kirwood General Hospital Detroit and rotations in Pediatrics, Neonatology, and O.B. Gyn at Mt. Carmel, Mt. Sinai, and St. Joseph Hospital Detroit respectively. Dr. Admin has 22+ years of clinical experience in General Practice. She oversees our patients with back, neck, and other musculo-skeletal problems here at Total Health Systems.






Dr. Jack B. Salomon, M.D. 
Dr. Jack B. Salomon, M.D. graduated from Wayne State University Medical School in 1971. He interned at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx. He completed his residency at Detroit General Hospital and was the chief medical resident in his final year of residency.
After residency, Dr. Salomon was an Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine at Wayne State University. He then went on to work at the Metropolitan Health Plan in Dearborn and eventually at Group Health Plan in Warren.
In 1989 he joined the Henry Ford Medical Group. He went free-lance in 2000 working as a temporary physician in a bariatric clinic in Michigan, at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri and at the Veteran’s Administration Clinic in Youngstown, Ohio. He eventually worked full time at the Youngstown VA and became its clinical manager in 2001.
Dr. Salomon returned to the free-lance work in 2007 working at Intercare in Michigan, which has a large migrant worker population. He then worked at the Blue Care Network in East Lansing which has a varied population of college students, professors, laborers and retirees. Prior to coming to Total Health, he worked at the San Carlos Hospital in Arizona which is on an Apache Indian Reservation.
Besides evaluating patients for physical therapy, Dr. Salomon is willing to address primary care concerns people may have. He is interested in optimizing peoples’ nutrition and exercise capabilities.


Dr. Cheryl Lerchin
Dr. Cheryl Lerchin is a board certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist (or Physiatrist). She received her undergraduate pre-medicine degree from the University of Michigan, and then went on to attend medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit. After graduation, she completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, obtaining her board certification with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in May of 2001.
Dr. Lerchin is affiliated with The Beaumont Hospital Group in Royal Oak and Troy, along with St. John’s Hospital. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Michigan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Medical Association, and the Michigan State Medical Society.

A physiatrist (fizz ee at’ trist) is a physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. These specialists focus on restoring function to people. Physiatrists treat acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. Physiatrists’ patients include people with arthritis, tendonitis, any kind of back pain, and work- or sports-related injuries.
Physiatrists also treat serious disorders of the musculoskeletal system that result in severe functional limitations. They would treat a baby with a birth defect, someone in a bad car accident, or an elderly person with a broken hip. Physiatrists coordinate the long-term rehabilitation process for patients with spinal cord injuries, cancer, stroke or other neurological disorders, brain injuries, amputations, and multiple sclerosis.


Dr. Aaron Lundgaard 
Dr. Aaron Lundgaard graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, where he was an honors student and varsity football athlete. He continued his education at the National College of Chiropractic, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Human Biology and professional degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic. During his schooling, he received a fellowship in biochemistry, which included a position as part-time faculty to teach clinical biochemistry. In this capacity, he has performed numerous class lectures and developed case studies in a problem-based learning format for educational purposes.
During his internship at National College of Chiropractic Woodridge Clinic, Dr. Lundgaard’s experiences included certification in Flexion Distraction technique by the post-graduate division of National College of Chiropractic. He became actively involved in community outreach programs. He was instrumental in developing outreach programs for community sporting events, where the clinic provided health care to athletes participating in road races, soccer tournaments, and other sporting endeavors. This carried over into his role as clinic director at Total Health Systems, P.C.
He has performed numerous community outreach seminars, focusing on topics such as osteoporosis and low back pain. This included implementing a low back wellness programs that include education as to the epidemiology, anatomy, structures prone to injury, mechanisms of injury, and active prevention of low back pain and related disorders.
Concurrent with his staff position, Dr. Lundgaard is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association), and in the role has done group conditioning for high school athletic programs and developed individualized work out protocols for optimal fitness.


Richard Huminski, D.C. 
Dr. Richard Huminski, received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1981. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University receiving an Associates Degree in Pre-Medical Curriculum. To maintain the high quality of care he provides his patients, he attends continuing education classes each year. Dr. Huminski is an expert on headaches and severe low back conditions. He offers his patients 26 years of experience in the field of chiropractic – from the most benign to complicated conditions.




Dr. Rose Minkiewicz 
Dr. Rose Minkiewicz, received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She is a Michigan native and grew up in Mount Clemens. Dr. Minkiewicz received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2003 from Oakland University in Rochester. She then pursued her dream of becoming a chiropractor and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College in October of 2007.
During her clinical experience at Palmer, she was fortunate enough to provide care to people of all ages. Her future interests include furthering her knowledge in pediatric chiropractic and nutritional counseling. Dr. Minkiewicz believes that being a chiropractor enables her to fulfill her passion for serving others everyday.


Dr. Jennifer Hudson grew up in western Iowa in small farm town, one of seven children. She received a full academic scholarship for Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa. She then continued her education at Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa, after which she enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating in October 1993 with Bachelor of Science, (minor in Art, using both sides of my brain) and Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. Hudson moved to Michigan and practiced at Cook Chiropractic, PC for one year. She then helped open and run Morici Chiropractic, PC in Troy, Michigan, practicing there until early 2007. She has 17 years of Chiropractic experience.
She is the mother of four children (elementary to college age) She is also an avid hiker and skier (kayaking), hiking various places from Moab, UT to Glacier National Park in Montana to Chapel Basin in the UP. She also has skied here in Michigan and various mountains in Colorado.



Dr. Bill Pohlen attended the University of South Dakota for his undergraduate studies. He attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. and graduated in 1996. He entered practice in his home state of South Dakota and practiced there until 2007 and during that year Dr. Pohlen moved to Michigan and continued his Chiropractic career.
Once he returned to his home state to practice he became very involved with the local high school wrestling team. He traveled with the team to tournaments as well as districts, regions and state tournaments. During his involvement with the team he enjoyed watching his patients move to the next level of competition. His patients have participated at the collegiate level at University of Nebraska, North Dakota State University and Iowa State University.
Dr. Pohlen brings over 15 years of experience to Total Health Systems with over 9 years of experience in extremity adjusting.


Piotr Kasprzyk 
Piotr Kasprzyk, Physical Therapist
Piotr received a Master of Motor Rehabilitation degree from the Academy of Physical Education in Poland in 1994. Peter also holds a bachelor degree in physical education. He worked for two years at a polish hospital before moving to the U.S.A. in 1996 to work in an outpatient clinic. He specializes in manual therapy, dealing with complex pains, movement dysfunction, and headaches. Peter uses various techniques like massage, joint mobilization, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and trigger point therapy to restore the well being of his patients. In his work, he emphasizes the influence of physical activity and structural balance to develop a pain-free life.


Maciej Szewczyk 
Maciej Szewczyk, Physical Therapist
He received a Master of Motor Rehabilitation (Physical Therapy) and a Bachelor degree in physical education form the Academy of Physical Education in Poland in 1994. He graduated in December 2007 with a Doctorate degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences Florida. Maciej’s areas of expertise include: orthopedics with sports physical therapy and management of pain disorders. He utilizes various manual therapy techniques (muscle energy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, neural and joint mobilizations) and exercises to achieve the best possible results. He also emphasizes education, prevention and patient’s active involvement during treatment.


Marek Drzazga 
Marek Drzazga, Physical Therapist
Marek graduated from Academy of Physical Education in Poznan, Poland in 1994. He holds Master Degree in Motor Rehabilitation and Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
For years, Marek has been practicing physical therapy in variety of settings including pediatrics, in-patient hospital, long term care. Recently , he has been focusing on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy utilizing his knowledge and skills to treat patient with musculo-skeletal, neurological and sport related injuries.




Moby Samuel 
Moby Samuel, Physical Therapist
Moby Samuel has been working for 4 years in various settings including Hospital Inpatient, Long term care & Pain management centres. He started his career working with patients who have sustained injuries due to auto accidents & work related injuries. He has experience working with paients with foot & ankle injuries, rotator cuff injury & degenerative disorders of spine. He worked with post surgical patients in Joint care centers. His main interest is in manual therapy & therapeutic education including stretching.




Archi Patel, Physical Therapist
My name is Archanaben Patel, (people know me better as Archi). I received my Bachelors in physical therapy from Srinivas College of physiotherapy affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health sciences (RGUHS), Mangalore, India. For my excellent academic performance in my undergraduate, I received a gold medal and was honored “Best outgoing student award in academics”. I attended and participated in several Indian National physical therapy conferences and received a bronze medal for my Poster presentation on “Jobs related health hazards of physiotherapists” in 2007. I played and won intercollegiate badminton and cricket tournaments in 2005-2006. I had 1180 hours of clinical training which included rotations at OPD of Wenlock district hospital, ESI, New Mangalore Port trust hospital and Srinivas College Polyclinic, Mangalore and 1248 hours of internship at V.S hospital, Ahmedabad, India.
I am also a Certified Manual Therapist and member of Manual therapy foundation of India. I also have CPR certification from the American CPR Care Association. I worked in the Srinivas outpatient clinic in India before I moved to the United States to pursue my Graduate degree. I completed my Masters in Kinesiology with my specialization in Exercise and sports medicine in 05/2011. I also received a Graduate Professional scholarship from Wayne state university for having a GPA of 4.0.


Rafal Borowy 
Rafal Borowy, Physical Therapy Assistant
Rafal graduated form Macomb Community College in 2004 with a degree of Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He made the dean’s list. Rafal worked in NOMC (north oakland medical center) his first year out of school, after that he decided to focus on out patient care. He worked with a variety of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. I trained in NMT (neuromuscular therapy), SCS (strain counter strain techniques), and MET (muscle energy techniques). Rafal spent the last 5 years treating patients with neck and low back injuries, as well as hip and knee injuries. He uses manual therapy, as well as stretching (mostly Mc Kenzie) , and strengthening techniques to help reduce pain and restore function. Each patient treatment is individualized to the patient’s needs. He is also fluent in Polish.


Natalia Frazee 
Natalia Frazee, Physical Therapy Assistant
Natalia is a licensed physical therapist assistant and a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association). She graduated with high honors from Macomb Community College in 2010 with a degree of Associates of Applied Science. She had several clinical rotations working in a variety of settings including treatment for the geriatric population, orthopedics, and some vestibular problems. Now Natalia is enjoying working in an outpatient physical therapy setting utilizing her knowledge and skills to help people improve activities of daily living and gain functional abilities.




Laurie Nuyens 
Laurie Nuyens, ATC, NASM-CPT, Fitness Program Director
Laurie earned her BS from Central Michigan University in Sports Medicine. She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Laurie has worked as a full time personal trainer since 2001.
Many of her clients have changed their life with Laurie’s guidance, knowledge and support. Laurie enjoys working with those brand new to fitness and with the experienced athlete who is looking to take it to the next level. With Laurie’s education and experience she is qualified to care for people recovering from a injury, training for a specific sport or with those looking to lose weight and increase health. Laurie herself is an avid runner and triathlete. Laurie has completed various half marathons, marathons, and half iron mans.


Diane Delf Diane Delf, RN, Director of Wellness and Weight Management
Diane has been a Registered Nurse for over twenty years and is committed to providing quality health care to empower and educate individuals to be their best physically, mentally, and spiritually, for vibrant & healthy living. She directs the Weight Loss & Wellness programs, and offers weekly classes on health and lifestyle changes. She is also available for private one-on-one sessions. Diane is a triathlete and believes in embracing life with passion and excitement. She is a great support and wealth of knowledge as you work at implementing new lifestyle changes, and is ready to guide you to improved health and vibrant wellness.



Dena Foran
Dena Foran, Massage Therapist
Dena’s Educational Background: Dena was certified in August 1989, by Ten Marks LMT, CSMT, at the Muscle Therapy Clinic. The 500-hour training requirements covered Therapeutic Massage and Technique; Theory and Practice of Massage Hygiene; Anatomy, Physiology, and Hydrotherapy. Other training Dena has had includes specialties such as: shiatsu, acupressure, polarity, energy balancing, and basic reflexology.  Upon graduating, Dena was given an extensive test through the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and completed a year of Polarity instruction from John Bodary. With experience being the best teacher she apprenticed under Ron Reynolds CMT, and Sandra O’Donahue CMT, at Holistic Therapies in Royal Oak. Dena received experience with other groups; such as Primal Integration, Psychotherapy with Dr. Barbara Valasis, YWCA Health & Fitness camp and Women in the Wilderness just for fun & relaxation.  She is a former member of the AMTA and member of the IMA (International Massage Association).
Dena has been affiliated with chiropractors, through her massage practice since 1991 and has been employed with Total Health Systems for 5 years. Word from Dena: I learned from Sandra Donahue that “massage is an art, let your hands dance”. Wellness is in fashion, why don’t you try some on?


Teresa Clarkston
Teresa Clarkston, Massage Therapist
My name is Teresa Clarkston. I am a certified massage therapist by Wellspring Institute, School of Therapeutic Bodywork.
My training is in the therapeutic, cranial, and geriatric massage. I am trained in reflexology, in which I stimulate points on the hands and feet. This technique reduces tension and stress. This in turn brings healing to the whole systems and also promotes good health, naturally.






Michelle Gasperoni
Michelle Gasperoni, Massage Therapist
Michelle Gasperoni is a certified massage therapist from the Health Enrichment Center. She has been certified in June 1997 and has received over 1000 hours of supervise training in Therapeutic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology. She also received training in: Basic Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, and Acupressure.
She specializes in deep tissue massage and a basic relaxation swedish massage. She can incorporate different types of massage techniques to tailor to a clients individual needs. Michelle’s vast experience in massage therapy makes her a favorite of clients.


Shannon Weiland
Shannon Weiland, Massage Therapist
Shannon graduated from the Trinity School of Massage in February 2007. She is a certified massage therapist in the state of Michigan. Shannon specializes in Swedish massage, relaxation and deep tissue. She is knowledgable in heat stone massage as well as Detox, Sports, Prenatal experience, beginning cranial-sacral.




Sabrina Signorelli
Sabrina Signorelli, Massage Therapist
My name is Sabrina Signorelli. I am a certified massage therapist through Baker College. I graduated in June of 2005. I have received 1000 hours of supervised training. I specialize in Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Swedish, and Shiatsu. I have also had training in Sports Massage, Polarity and Trigger Point Therapy. I have also done clinicals and internships while I was still in school. I now work at Total Health Systems as a full-time therapist.




Jessica SachaJessica Sacha, Massage Therapist
My name is Jessica Sacha and I am certified through Irene’s Myomassology Institute in February 2010, with over 50 0 hours of training. I also worked in the student clinic and volunteered my time at outside events. I specialize in Swedish and deep tissue massage. I also have some training in sports massage, hot stone, and Reiki. I started working at Total Health in May 2010.






Marisa Hubinger, Massage Therapist
Marisa graduated from Irene’s Myomassology Institute May of 2010.  She received over 600 hours of supervise training in Therapeutic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology. She also received training in: Basic Reflexology, Thai Massage, Hot Stone, Sports Massage, and Reiki. She will be a certified Reiki Master Teacher at the the end of this year.
She specializes in deep tissue massage and a basic relaxation swedish massage. She can incorporate different types of massage techniques to tailor to a clients individual needs.  Marisa also  holds a BS and MA in Criminology and Sociology.




Stephanie Spencer, Massage Therapist
I am a Certified Massage Therapist through Baker College in June 2010.  I have over 500 hours of training. I specialize in Swedish Massage as well as Deep Tissue. I can also do Prenatal Massages and find them very therapeutic and relaxing especially during that last month of the Pregnancy. I joined the Total Health team in October 2011 as a full time Therapist.








John Mistalski, Massage Therapist 
I am certified through the Flint School of Therapeutic Massage as of October 2011, with over 600 hours of training.  I also specialize in Swedish and deep tissue massage, but have training in basic Shiatsu, Reflexology, Sports, Polarity, and prenatal massages. I joined the Total Health team in November 2011 and hope to help ease all your aches and pains.
